Buy Me a Coffee is a platform that allows you to receive donations and subscriptions from your audience. You can also use it as a way to offer ‘extras’ as a means of appreciation. These extras can range from exclusive content to consultations depending on your audience’s tastes.
Payments are accepted using Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and all major credit cards. Fans do not need to sign up to make these donations but can do so using one-tap functionality.
Memberships can also be set up to ensure a steady income with the ability to send out emails to subscribers.
I signed up and it’s pretty neat. You can sell services on there. I created one for podcast consulting. It integrates with calendly for scheduling.
And as you can see in the bottom left corner of this page, you can add a widget on your site for someone to support you.
There’s also the option to create a button. Like the widget in the corner, they’ll generate code for you to embed in your website. If you’re on wordpress just add an html block.
